The BREAD OF LIFE HOUSING FOUNDATION, founded by disabled Navy veteran Clyde Minton and his wife Lyn, is a non-profit providing housing for veterans seeking community with peers.

We support justice-involved individuals with substance use disorders and mental illness through Medically Assisted Treatment, Recovery, and Abstinence-based programs, aiding their re-entry into society.

The safety of our Veterans and other residents is a priority.  We offer a SMART RECOVERY HOME:

  • indoor motion sensor lights to prevent falls while hunting for switches in the dark, especially in stairways and hallways
  • smart thermostat that delivers comfort where it counts, manages hot or cold spots, adjusts temperature in rooms that are in use
  • electronic wifi keypads with built in alarm to prevent lock-outs, provide remote access control and monitoring
  • USB and USB-C outlets in all rooms and kitchen for convenience & privacy
  • smart doorbell with video cameras at entrances
  • outdoor sensors and timed security lights

BREAD OF LIFE HOUSING FOUNDATION is optimistic that individuals who commit to break the barriers of re-entry after serving the military or completing a sentence will fulfill their journey towards wellness and self-sufficiency enabling them to leave addiction to self-direct life, free from addiction, in order to reach their full potential.

The Bread of Life Housing Foundation does not discriminate against race, national origin, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation or age.
